Morning visit to Sheldrick’s Wildlife Trust to see the feeding of the orphaned elephants and learn about conservation efforts throughout the country. Continue on to the Giraffe Conservation Center to get up close and personal with these gentle giants. Stop for lunch and artisan shopping in the afternoon. Return to the hotel.

After breakfast, we depart for a road trip through the Agricultural-rich Central Kenya highlands to Thingira Cultural Village. Tour highlights include; Cultural experience, tour of the village, Crocodile farm, traditional cuisine and dances. Thingira Cultural Village is a multicultural Village located along the Tana River, North of Nairobi along the Nairobi-Nyeri highway. A visit to this village is travelling into their past. Experience the history of the Local Bantu tribes including the Gikuyu, Aembu and the Akamba. Feast your senses on the stories, the smells, flavors and images of the living history that will make a lasting impression. Immerse yourselves in the past and get to know the culture of the Bantus of Mt. Kenya and the history of Kenya. After lunch, we proceed to a small village by name Kianjogu at the foot of Mt Kenya in Karatina county for a home stay with a host family.

Today, we wake up to the noises of birds in the village. After breakfast, we proceed to the farm. Morning: You will start your day by experiencing working with local farmers in their Tea farms and learn how tea is picked where after you will visit the buying center where you experience how factory clerks do the sorting before buying from farmers. Later on vegetable gardens where you will learn aspects of gardening such as preparing the soil and planting vegetables among other food crops. You will also learn how the land is prepared, fertilized and how the vegetables are cultivated as well as discovering how they are used in local food. Other activities will include raking, sowing, and watering etc… Afternoon: After lunch, visiting the Mau Mau caves with brief history of the Kenyan Freedom fighters. The evening spent at leisure waiting to grab a beer in the local pub in the evening or at the host home helping with cooking’s. Overnight with host family.

In the morning after breakfast prepared by you with the help of the host, you will leave the village for Lake Nakuru National park. On the way you will have a stopover at Tomson fall nyahururu. Dinner and overnight at Buraha zenoni Resorts

After an early breakfast, proceed to the park where you will see a lot of flamingos among other birds. About 350 species are recorded. This is also home to the black and the white rhinoceros.The park has also been established for the protection of endangered species such as the rhino and also home to Columbus monkeys, leopards, giraffes, and a variety of plain antelope with a picnic lunch on the way, depart Nakuru for Masai Mara. After breakfast, you will proceed on a full-day game drive within the reserve. The landscape here is scenic savannah grassland on rolling hills. The reserve is the best park for game viewing in Kenya as it has an extensive road and track network which allows for close-range encounters. You will break for your picnic lunch at Hippo Pool, looking out for hippos and crocodiles. Today you will sleep at the masai village in their homestay. In the evening You'll have the opportunity to participate in the bead making sessions facilitated by the Maasai Women Cooperative. Meet and interact with Maasai women and learn techniques and the meaning of bead making in the Maasai tribe. You might be surprised to discover your own beading talent.
Enjoy an evening cultural dance as you have your Dinner.

After breakfast you will visist a local school in the masai community before leaving mara for Lake Naivasha. Here you can cycle or enjoy a drive. Lake Naivasha is the only park where you can enjoy nature work. Hell’s gate national park, the park has attractions like the Olkaria and Hobley's, two extinct volcanoes and the obsidian forms from the cool molten lava. Within Hell's Gate is the Hells Gate Gorge, lined with red cliffs which contains two volcanic plugs: Fischer's Tower and Central Tower which is a smaller gorge that extends to the south and of which a path descends into hot springs later. After breakfast you can do a boat ride and fishing before leaving for Nairobi. You will depart to Mombasa with a night train that departs at 10pm.
