amboseli national parkDay 1: Nairobi - Maasai Mara

Pick up from airport upon arrival and be transferred to our office for briefing. Meet your guide and the other group members and depart for the Masai Mara Game Reserve via the view-point of the Great Rift Valley and Narok town for refueling and lunch. Proceed to the game reserve where you will first check in at lodge or camp, You will have time for a little siesta before proceeding on the first introduction game viewing in Masai Mara game reserve, returning back to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Masai Mara

After breakfast you will proceed on a full day of game viewing within the reserve. The landscape here is scenic savannah grassland on rolling hills. The reserve is the best park for game in Kenya as it has an extensive road and track network which allows for close range viewing and photography. Break for your picnic lunch at the hippo pool, looking out for hippos and crocodile. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 3: Maasai mara - Lake Nakuru

Early morning pre-breakfast game drive from 0600am to 0930am tracking the wildcat. If lucky you will witness them as they hunt and kill. After breakfast, depart the Mara region for Nakuru, lunch enroute, with scenic views of Mt. Longonot and Lake Naivasha from afar on the main highway. Dinner and overnight at a budget hotel.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru National Park - Amboseli National Park

After breakfast you will proceed on a game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, known for its prolific bird life including flamingos. The park contains a sanctuary for the conservation of the white rhino while species like Cape buffalo and waterbuck can be seen near the shoreline. Drive to Amboseli national park arriving late evening with game viewing en route to camp. Dinner and overnight at camp.

Day 5: Amboseli full day

This will be a day of game drives in this park that contains swamp grounds in which elephants and hippos bathe in abundance. A variety of plains game, antelopes, birds, and Mt. Kilimanjaro’s peak can be seen if weather conditions permit. We will cater for picnic lunches return to overnight at the campsite.

Day 6: Amboseli - Namanga border - Arusha

Early morning game viewing before returning to the camp for a full breakfast. Later you will check out and proceed to Namanga border. After immigration you will catch the shuttle bus to Arusha. You will be met and transferred to Arusha Center Inn Hotel bed and breakfast. {dinner at own}.

Day 7: Arusha - Tarangire National park

After breakfast you will depart for Tarangire National Park arriving in time for lunch and an afternoon of game viewing. Lesser kudu, eland, lion and gerenuk can be found in this beautiful park, noted for its multitude of baobab trees and its tree-climbing lions. Dinner and overnight at the campsite

Day 8: Tarangire National Park - Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This afternoon, you will descend 2000 feet (over 600 meters) to the floor of the crater for a daycrater tour with picnic lunches. Explore the forest areas that are inhabited by monkeys and elephants, the lake area, where you may see the flamingos and the open savannah where the lions hunt for food. Dinner and overnight at the campsite

Day 9: Ngorongoro crater - Serengeti National park

Drive to Serengeti National Park via Olduvai Gorge, the site of Louis and Mary Leakey’s renowned archaeological discoveries. Visit this museum at an extra cost and see the findings including some of the man’s earliest known ancestral remains. Lunch will be at the Seronera camp. You will have an afternoon game drive in the endless plains of the Serengeti for a chance to see the great herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles or a pride of lions lounging in the shade. Dinner and overnight at camp at the campsite

Day 10: Serengeti National Park - Lake Manyara

Enjoy an early morning game drive before breakfast. Return to the camp for late breakfast mid morning and then depart to lake manyara with Lunch enroute. Upon arrival have the evening game drive till sunset. Dinner and overnight at the campsite

Day 11: Lake Manyara - Arusha

After breakfast, you will have a morning game drive in Lake Manyara National Park whose inhabitants include hippos, monkeys, tree climbing lions, flamingos, and other varieties of birdlife. Lunch at the camp. After lunch, drive back to Arusha drop of at Arusha center Inn with bed and breakfast.

Day 12: Arusha - Nairobi

After breakfast at Arusha Center Inn Hotel hotel our partner will be ready to take you to shuttle bus for Nairobi where you will be received and transferred to airport or your Nairobi hotel.
